| by having your trophies mounted with us. | |||

|
"DISADVANTAGES OF DIP AND SHIP" - (RAW TROPHY PREP) |
|||
| 1. A lot more documentation is required and obtaining export permits from our Dept. of Environmental | |||
| Affairs often result in delays beyond our control. | |||
| 2. Taxidermists in the country of destination are not necessarily familiar with all our species. | |||
| 3. Raw trophies are more susceptible to storage / climatic conditions which could lead to their | |||
| deterioration. | |||
| 4. Trophies handled by many parties: i.e. further processing by the mounting taxidermy (using different | |||
| methods and chemicals), the tannery in country of destination, the mounting etc. | |||
| 5. Replacing a damaged / badly shot trophy is much more difficult and costly. | |||
| 6. Exporting raw trophies takes almost as long to process and ship as it does to mount trophies, because | |||
| of the export documents, permits etc. | |||
|
